Amanda Stevens, LCSW

Amanda is a graduate from the University of Tennessee Social Work program with her bachelor’s degree in 2012 and master’s degree in 2017. Throughout her social work career, Amanda has worked with adults and teens struggling with substance abuse, life transitions, anxiety, depression, and trauma in the foster care system, community mental health centers, inpatient hospital units, substance abuse treatment centers, and the local human trafficking coalition.

Amanda’s therapeutic approach is grounded in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness. She combines these skills in treatment to empower clients to build resilience, enhance self-awareness, and cultivate a greater sense of well-being.

She is committed to providing a safe and supportive space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors through personalized care, nonjudgmental support, and evidence-based interventions tailored to your unique needs and goals.

 

Client Focus

  • Adult individual therapy to address issues such as: anxiety, depression, phase of life transitions, self-esteem, identity, trauma, grief and loss, and more.

  • $125 per session self-pay

  • If using insurance, rates will be contracted by carrier.
