Knoxville Counseling Services, PLLC is the premier private practice in Knoxville. We are a group of independent therapists dedicated to working with you and your family in order to improve your emotional health, your relationships, and your lives.
Are you struggling with anxiety, depression, relationships, or self-esteem? Are you adjusting to major transitions in your life (e.g., new baby, just moved to Knoxville, new job, trying to figure out what career you want, divorce)? Do you have a child or teenager who is struggling with behavioral or emotional issues? We have therapists to help you with all of these areas, and more.
At Knoxville Counseling Services, we provide a wide variety of services and treatment approaches for older adolescents and adults. We understand that many people have anxiety about seeking counseling services, but we strive to make this process as welcoming and encouraging as possible. We look forward to getting to know you and helping you on your journey to change!
We have three office locations to better serve the Knoxville Community. One is located in North Knoxville, off I-75 and Callahan Drive. The second is our Bearden location, located off the Papermill Exit at the intersection of Kingston Pike and Northshore. And the third is our West location, near the intersection of Pellissippi Parkway and Kingston Pike.
We have the option of in-person sessions or video-based sessions (Telehealth). Please discuss with your provider your preference.

Our Practice Group
Below, you will learn more about our therapists, their specialties, and the ages of clients they see. Please note that office hours, fee structures, and any insurances accepted are unique to each therapist. To schedule an appointment with any of the therapists, please click on the “Contact” button to fill out the general inquiry form on our contact page. We strive to get back to new clients quickly. Please allow 24-48 business hours to respond to an inquiry. Emails will likely receive a quicker response.
Most of our therapists are on limited insurance panels. Please check with each provider who they are contracted with. Many are self-pay only which allows a more customized experience for your therapeutic needs. You can request documentation, if working with a licensed therapist, to file with your insurance company to potentially seek reimbursement if you are paying out of pocket. You can use your HSA and FSA for therapy services.
You can also call the number on the back of your insurance card and ask about out-of-network behavioral health benefits. Some plans have excellent coverage and there is just a co-pay; others require meeting a high deductible. It is plan specific.
